What this covers
How we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit somatictherapy.co, join our email list, buy a membership or product, or contact us. We handle personal information in line with applicable data protection laws.
Information we collect
- Account and checkout: name, email, billing address, payment details (processed by ThriveCart and its payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).
- Email and forms: email address, and any details you choose to share in forms or replies.
- Site and analytics: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and similar technical data via cookies or similar tools (see Cookie notice). Analytics tools are only active once configured.
- Support messages: whatever you send us by email or form.
We do not ask you to tag yourself by diagnosis or condition in our marketing tools. Please do not include sensitive health details in checkout or open form fields unless you choose to for a specific support reason.
How we use information
- To provide and manage memberships, courses, and purchases
- To send transactional messages (receipts, access, billing)
- To send marketing emails only if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To improve the site and fix problems
- To meet legal, tax, and security obligations

Consent (email marketing, non-essential cookies), contract (membership and purchases), legitimate interests (security, basic analytics, improving the service), and legal obligation where required.
Sharing
We use service providers who process data for us, such as:
– Hosting (e.g. Bluehost)
– Membership and page tools (e.g. WordPress / Thrive)
– Checkout and payments (e.g. ThriveCart and its processors)
– Email (e.g. MailerLite)
– Security and forms tools (e.g. Wordfence, form plugins)
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the service.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, wherever we or our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) offered by those providers.
Retention
We keep account, purchase, and billing records as long as needed for the membership, accounting, and legal requirements, then delete or anonymise them when no longer needed. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or we close the list segment. Support emails are kept as long as useful for follow-up, then removed in routine cleanup.
Your rights
Depending on where you live and the applicable data protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Children
The Somatic Healing Circle and this site are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes will be noted on this page or by email when appropriate.
